Pop-up Vendoring
As a new resident of Vancouver and a local artist, I have been eagerly exploring the art scene in the city. This past weekend, I had the wonderful opportunity to be a vendor at the Kahve gallery pop-up event, and it was an incredible experience.
The weather was absolutely stunning - a welcome change after a long rainy spring - and it was heartening to see people out and about enjoying the sunshine. The pop-up was held at the beautiful Kahve coffee shop, which provided the perfect backdrop for the event.
I was thrilled to meet so many other talented vendors and to have the chance to showcase my own work alongside them. Customers were kind and curious, and it was a joy to see them browsing my art and products.
I was selling a range of items, including framed digital art, illustrational stickers, unique greeting cards, mugs with custom art, and coaster sets with original artwork. My fine art is printed on Deluxe recyclable photo paper with Premium biomass color ink, while my stickers are produced with GreenGuard eco-friendly inks and are fully permanent and waterproof/weatherproof.
All art is printed and applied to upcycled materials, in line with my commitment to sustainability. The use of upcycled materials not only gives a second life to discarded items, but also helps to reduce waste and minimize the environmental impact of my art. It's important to me as a local artist to create beautiful, high-quality products that are also eco-friendly and socially responsible.
Overall, my experience at the Kahve gallery pop-up was truly wonderful. I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to connect with fellow artists and customers, and I can't wait to continue exploring the vibrant art scene here in Vancouver.
