This branding design was created for a small business called Dibkast and owned by Anik Bonnema. This unique logo cleverly incorporates the reuse symbol with the company's mascot. The circular shape of the reuse symbol is formed by the mascot's outstretched arms, while the arrows of the symbol are represented by clothes hangers being held in the mascot's hands. The result is a creative and memorable logo that effectively communicates the company's commitment to sustainability and reuse.
The branding design combines traditional, vector, and pixel mediums, with the use of Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects. The business card design was thoughtfully crafted as a stamp, allowing the owner to produce business cards from recycled paper scraps, in line with their eco-conscious values.
The business features two collections: "Couture" and "Castoff." The Couture collection offers minimal designs that can be worn in multiple ways, providing customers with versatile wardrobe options while reducing textile waste and shipping emissions. The "Castoff" collection focuses on mindful retrieval, reviving, and recasting of items that are already in circulation, reducing the environmental cost of fashion.
