Shopify; LeadCon 2023 Event Branding

A branding project created for an internal event at Shopify, bringing together the leaders of the company's largest organization. The event, held at the luxurious Fairmont Banff Springs, featured a series of talks and interactive workshops hosted by employees and merchants of Shopify. The workshops, hosted by merchants, allowed attendees to learn about their exceptional businesses. Attendees also enjoyed shared meals as well as evening networking party events, aimed at leveling up the company culture.

The event's branding was influenced by the distinctive shapes and colors of mid-century design, while the event's focus was on long-term building, connecting the dots, and closing knowledge gaps between teams. The branding concept creatively represented the theme with a playful "connect the dots" design, emphasizing the significance of connections and information sharing. The dot-connecting imagery not only communicated the event's message but also established a vibrant and unforgettable visual identity for the event.

The branding elements were created using vectors and pixels in Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Figma, and a single designer was responsible for designing all of the more than 100 digital and print designs. The branding design played an important role in helping leaders start the year with guidance and aligned goals for 2023.
