Shopify; Support Summit 2022 Event Motion Graphics

A branding project for Shopify's largest organization's internal event, "Support Summit 2022", which took place both virtually and in-person across multiple locations worldwide, including East and West Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand. The branding, consisting of over 100 digital and print designs, was created by a team of two designers. The design elements were crafted with a combination of vectors and pixels, utilizing software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Figma. 

The event featured talks and interactive workshops hosted by Shopify employees and merchants, where attendees could learn about merchant businesses and company 2022 goals. The event also included shared meals and evening networking parties that helped to level up the company culture and boost productivity and employee happiness.

Just like the clouds above, ecommerce is constantly shifting and evolving. After years apart it's time to come together in this new reality, gaze up at the limitless sky, and look past the clouds to the potential beyond. This year at Support Summit, we are reconnecting with peers both old and new to focus on continued movement, enhanced connection, and the anticipation of brighter days ahead.  


In the last two years we’ve undergone immense uncertainty alongside immense growth. Throughout it all, as the clouds are shaped by the wind, Shopify and Support have continued to transform. The common thread uniting these changes has been our goal of making commerce better for everyone. In 2022, our mission is to help merchants make more money, and it will require contributions from each and every craft to make this a reality. While it may require new approaches and continued change, merchant success is the wind that propels Shopify forward and allows us to keep playing positive sum games.  


Together we will embark on journey of remarkable transition both personally and professionally, and this is the opportunity we’ve been waiting for— to gather and align on the brightest possible future with our merchants at the forefront. The lines have blurred between turbulence and tranquillity and the question now is one of mindset. It is time to break through the clouds of uncertainty and let the light shine in.
