Algonquin College; Children's Book Cover Illustration

This project was completed as an assignment while studying at Algonquin College. It is an illustrational book cover design for "Dragon Spiel," a short children's book by Canadian writer Wendy Umlah. The illustration style is inspired by the playful and humorous art of Dr. Seuss.

The story follows a young boy who stumbles upon three fake dragons while wandering through bushes. This project is purely fictional and the book cover was not ultimately used for the final publication. The artwork was created using a combination of traditional pencil and pen techniques, as well as digital tools in Photoshop.
